Lwanga Communications Centre:
The Communications Department of the Catholic Archdiocese of Mombasa.

Radio Programmes:

We produce radio programmes for a number of radio stations worldwide.

Vatican Radio:
We send inserts to Vatican Radio Rome, in English and Kiswahili. We became involved with Vatican Radio during Pope John Paul II’s visit to Kenya in1995.

Radio Waumini
We produce programmes on women issues in English and Kiswahili for Waumini Radio, Women’s Diary and Zulia la Wanawake respectively. We also have Food for the Journey- a production on the daily living of the gospel.

Kenya Broadcasting Co-operation: Radio
Daily gospel programme called Journey of Faith in English was our initial production for KBC. We than went on to produce Tumaini- a Kiswahili version of the same. KBC is the national broadcasting station.

We also took part in the Ecumenical rota preparing “Lift up your Hearts” and “Epilogues” and “Services” in English and Kiswahili.

Baraka FM:
We started working in conjunction with Barak FM when Roger Stoll, the Head of Radio then, asked us to produce a women issues programme. We then aired Wanawake Tusaidiane and also got involved with the formation and presentation of Bambika na Baraka- a youth talk show.

Pwani FM
We produce Women’s Journal and Jarida La Wanawake for Pwani FM, a local station in Mombasa. It is a sister station of KBC.
